Torquay Motor Show
Sunday 9th February 2020
This was a great day out. An amazing range of cars and bikes of a very high standard was on display.
A great location overlooking the Ocean beach at Torquay.
Met up with friends from the Oldsmobile Club, CHACA, Buick Car Club and the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club of Australasia as well as Daryl Meek from the RACV, which was the major sponsor.
The event was the Torquay Rotary Club’s major community fund raiser for the year.
These events would not be nearly as interesting if it were not for the high class imported cars which unfortunately attract the Luxury Car Tax, now imposed on relatively cheaper imports because of the low value of the Australian dollar to the US dollar.
A well run event, well done Torquay Rotary Club.
