At last, a Club Run, after months and months and months of Lockdowns and social restrictions; and what better way to celebrate this momentous event than an open air get-together in the picturesque surrounds of a Chestnut farm.At last, a Club Run, after months and months and months of Lockdowns and social restrictions; and what better way to celebrate this momentous event than an open air get-together in the picturesque surrounds of a Chestnut farm.On arrival we were greeted by their granddaughter, Molly, who escorted us to the area set aside for us with umbrellas, tables and chairs, and much appreciated cold drinks. It was a very hot day and the umbrellas were a truly welcome sight!Molly hovered around and attended to our various needs: extra drinks, rearranging our seating accommodation as the sun moved, etc., while Kate and Peter conducted tours through the property and to inspect Pete’s extremely well equipped wine cellar.
